Saltz Marketplace is hiring an Indirect Tax Manager (m/f/d)

Saltz Marketplace is looking for an Indirect Tax Manager (m/f/d) to own and execute our international indirect tax strategy. This role is crucial for enabling Saltz to scale across borders compliantly. You will be a key contributor to our growth roadmap, unlocking new markets and supply models.

What You'll Do

• Own Saltz’s international indirect tax strategy end-to-end, ensuring it is scalable, compliant, and aligned with the company’s growth plans.
• Design and implement new indirect tax solutions and strategies that optimize compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency across markets.
• Embed indirect tax compliance into business systems and processes by partnering closely with product, data, and finance teams.
• Manage and coordinate local indirect tax compliance in operating countries, working closely with external tax advisors where required.
• Prepare, review and sign off on tax returns.
• Deal with tax audits if and when they arise.

What We're Looking For

• 6-8 years of indirect tax experience, including in-house operational roles within tech or e-commerce environments.
• Expertise in EU intra-community supplies, cross-border e-commerce, and B2B indirect tax frameworks.
• Proven expertise in international indirect tax regulations in the EU.
• A track record of leveraging data and indirect tax technology in designing and implementing effective solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• A Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
