Avolta is hiring an Indirect Spend Specialist

Join Avolta as an Indirect Spend Specialist, where you will provide crucial administrative and operational support for indirect procurement across categories like travel services, store equipment, and office supplies. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with sourcing projects.

What You'll Do

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for indirect spend categories
• Maintain procurement documentation including supplier files, contract terms, and spend tracking records
• Generate spend reports comparing actual versus budget and identify variances
• Support sourcing activities by scheduling meetings, coordinating communications, and distributing RFP/RFI documentation
• Assist with vendor onboarding by collecting documentation and processing setup requests
• Track procurement projects, updating timelines and status information
• Perform data entry for travel bookings, equipment orders, and other procurement transactions
• Support accounts payable functions by researching invoice discrepancies and resolving billing issues
• Respond to routine procurement inquiries and provide information on policies and procedures
• Provide general administrative support including preparing correspondence and managing the procurement inbox

What We're Looking For

• A combination of education and professional experience that exceeds 4 years
• 4 years of experience in procurement, accounting, or business operations
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field can count for 2 of the 4-year requirement
• 2+ years of experience in Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Very detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Demonstrated experience working with subject matter experts to gather requirements and execute sourcing activities
• Proven ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong business acumen and strategic mindset to understand the long-term implications of procurement decisions
• Demonstrated history of anticipating business and stakeholder needs
• Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of procurement processes, contract terms, supplier management practices, and category management fundamentals – or ability to learn quickly
• Experience with procurement tools
