Neara is looking for an Implementation Specialist (GIS) to be a foundational member of a new team in India. You will become an expert on the Neara platform, driving key projects to provide actionable insights for utility and geospatial clients. You'll collaborate closely with our teams in Europe, Australia, and the US to support global delivery functions.
What You'll Do
- Configure projects and ensure system integration for utility and geospatial clients.
- Build reports and dashboards for effective data analytics and tracking, adapting Neara’s system to client requirements.
- Conceive efficient workflows for delivery projects with a focus on automation to handle large datasets.
- Identify and prioritise improvements to enhance project speed by partnering with engineering and product teams.
- Detect inaccuracies in the digital twin and reconfigure automodelling and dependencies to GIS, LiDAR, or other databases.
- Analyse client requests or issues and identify new innovative opportunities for implementation projects.
- Provide mentorship and training to other Implementation Specialists and System Analysts.
What We're Looking For
- A degree qualification.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in GIS/CAD geoprocessing and/or LiDAR.
- Proven coding experience in any language, with demonstrated ability to solve scalable problems in professional settings.
- Experience working with a cloud-based software solution.
Nice to Have
- Experience in FME is highly regarded.
- Grit, intensity, and drive to tackle demanding tasks.
- Experience with databases, proficiency in logical, lookup and reference functions.
- Proven experience in system implementations, integrations, and technical project delivery.
- Interest in spatial reasoning and working with 2D / 3D data.
- Proven interest in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Geographical Information Systems or a related field.

Team & Environment
You will be part of a brand new team being formed in India. You'll collaborate closely with the team in Europe and existing offshore BPO teams in India, as well as the entire delivery team. You will also interact with Australia and US departments including product, sales, and development, reporting into strong collaboration with the Head of Delivery based in Lithuania.
