River Cleanup is hiring an Impact & Data Project Officer to drive our mission of creating a world where rivers are free of plastics. This dual role combines data verification and project management to support the Assessment & Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) pillar of our Global Clean River Model.
What You'll Do
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across community, school, waste, and pollution assessments.
- Perform data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, location-based insights, and impact measurements.
- Improve data visualization by creating impactful charts, maps, and dashboards to communicate key figures.
- Draft and refine reports and presentations that guide decision-making and action.
- Help streamline data collection tools, such as templates, surveys, and Excel trackers, for better usability and efficiency.
- Support local teams in Belgium, Indonesia, and Cameroon to apply and improve monitoring processes.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from start to finish, including managing timelines, budgeting, and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery.
- Support the development of innovative technology solutions into the Clean River Model, including drone applications and AI-driven waste tools.
- Assist local teams in implementing program activities and achieving impact on the ground.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in data analysis, verification, and reporting.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills for drafting reports and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Ability to support and improve processes for teams in different geographical locations.
