We seek a proactive, skilled Hybrid Cloud & Messaging Platforms Engineer to spearhead identity, messaging, and collaboration service reliability across Azure, AWS, and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will synchronize platform strategies with project timelines and client commitments, ensuring consistent authentication experiences and stable communication channels. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in navigating complex hybrid cloud infrastructures, implementing data lifecycle controls without compromising productivity. Success requires developing clear operational guidelines, implementing proactive monitoring, and efficiently managing incident responses to minimize disruptions. Success metrics include maintaining consistent platform uptime, reducing authentication and communication issues, optimizing per-user operational expenses, and enhancing stakeholder delivery predictability. Responsibilities: - Establish hybrid cloud and messaging architectural standards across AWS, Azure, O365 - Optimize user authentication and mail flow processes - Execute platform migrations with comprehensive rollback procedures - Implement retention and eDiscovery controls meeting policy requirements - Lead significant incident management and resolution efforts - Enhance system observability and operational automation - Coordinate technical escalations and root cause analyses - Mentor engineering teams on documentation and solution design standards Required Skills: - Extensive hybrid cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, on-premises integration) - Advanced Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online configuration expertise - Comprehensive identity and access management proficiency - Experience implementing data retention and lifecycle management strategies - Skill in developing monitoring systems and automated alert processes - Proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively Qualifications: - 7+ years IT infrastructure or cloud services experience - Demonstrated hybrid cloud environment management - 2+ years IAM administration - 2+ years Microsoft 365 administration - 2+ years direct consulting experience managing multiple concurrent projects - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - Relevant certifications preferred Equal Employment Opportunity: Redapt provides equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability status, or any protected characteristic. #LI-TS1
