What You'll Do
Install, service, and repair commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in alignment with technical specifications and safety standards. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on large-scale equipment, including 800-ton chillers and boiler systems, to ensure peak performance and longevity.
Diagnose system faults using analytical methods and standard protocols, then implement effective repairs with minimal downtime. Guide junior technicians through complex tasks, helping build team capability and uphold quality standards. Contribute to process improvements by evaluating current workflows and recommending technical or procedural adjustments.
Work closely with team members to support facility objectives, maintain accurate records of all service activities, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Use Trane monitoring systems to track performance and troubleshoot issues in real time.
Requirements
- EPA Section 608 Certification or equivalent
- Proven experience with commercial HVAC repair and diagnostics
- Hands-on knowledge of 800-ton chillers and boiler maintenance
- Familiarity with Trane HVAC control and monitoring platforms
- Journeyman-level expertise in the trade
- Ability to meet U.S. Person status under ITAR and EAR regulations
- Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and work in confined spaces or extreme temperatures
- Willingness to wear protective gear and follow safety protocols in moderate-risk environments
