Responsibilities
- Lead talent acquisition at the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) level, including hiring for hourly and salaried roles, onboarding, orientation, and implementing effective short- and long-term recruitment strategies.
- Manage talent development at the RDC by facilitating new leader assimilation, coaching and mentoring new leadership, executing learning programs for career growth, implementing succession plans, and providing daily performance guidance to line management.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to support their professional growth and prepare them for career advancement within the company.
- Build a high-performing, values-driven culture at the RDC by developing programs to boost employee engagement and applying change management to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Administer best-in-class HR programs, processes, and solutions at the site, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies; analyze people data trends to improve productivity, quality, safety, and retention; collaborate with facility management on people programs; and partner with Centers of Excellence for information exchange and problem-solving.
- Complete investigations in a timely manner.
- Ensure site payroll complies with all company policies and procedures, and that employees receive accurate and timely paychecks.
