    About the role:

As an HR Generalist, you will oversee all aspects of HR - from onboarding new hires to managing employee relations and ensuring compliance. You will be instrumental in building scalable HR processes, providing guidance to employees and managers, and driving initiatives that enhance engagement and retention.

This role is ideal for someone who takes full ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is proactive in solving challenges. If you prefer taking initiative and finding solutions rather than waiting for direction, you will excel in this position.

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and orientation, maintaining accurate employee records, administering benefits and leaves, supporting employee relations, facilitating performance management and training, overseeing performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions, and coordinating offboarding processes.

    • Ensure compliance with Ontario ESA, OHRC, as well as other provincial and federal employment laws, and company policies

    • Act as a trusted HR advisor for employees and managers, providing guidance and resolving issues effectively

    • Maintain accurate HR records, ensure data integrity, and generate reports as needed

    • Support recruitment efforts during peak hiring periods

    • Lead HR initiatives to enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention

    • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline HR operations

    Job requirements

What we need you to bring:

    • 4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

    • Strong working knowledge of Ontario ESA, OHRC and other relevant employment legislation

    • Experience managing HR for a large workforce in a delivery center, project-driven, or high-volume operational environment

    • A self-starter mindset—proactive, resourceful, and results-driven

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

    • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and adaptability to changing priorities

    What we offer:

    • Comprehensive benefits package, including extended health, dental, and vision coverages; life insurance, AD&D, LTD & EAP coverages

    • Paid vacation, personal, and sick days

    • Fully remote role with the flexibility to be based anywhere within Ontario

    • A high-growth environment where you can make a real impact

We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and diverse workplace. We welcome and encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and are dedicated to employment equity and building a team that reflects the diverse communities in which we live and operate.

In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), we are committed to providing accommodations throughout the recruitment and selection process. If you require an accommodation, please let us know, and we will work with you to meet your needs.
