HF Sinclair Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join its Industrial Oils Unlimited, LLC team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this full-time, onsite role, you will report to the Human Resources Manager and be responsible for independently executing a broad range of HR processes. You will partner closely with the HR Manager, global HR colleagues, and organizational leaders to proactively address conflicts between established HR practices and evolving business needs.
What You'll Do
- Reliably perform independent Human Resources studies, analyses, and interpretations to draw sound conclusions and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable state and federal HR laws, preparing required reports and correspondence with accuracy.
- Design and develop new and improved Human Resources methods and procedures through partnership with the business, HR Operations, and Centers of Excellence.
- Support employee and labor relations matters, conducting thorough investigations and providing recommended follow‑up actions in alignment with HR Manager guidance.
- Administer, coordinate, and maintain core HR programs, recognized for your advanced knowledge.
- Coach and mentor managers on navigating employment issues.
- Credibly and constructively challenge and lead business and internal HR processes.
- Assume increased accountability for delivering core HR services and support execution of the HR agenda at the leadership level.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within core HR operations and proactively present recommendations to senior HR leadership.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including interviews, hiring activities, offer letter preparation, and compensation negotiation.
- Manage background checks, coordinate drug and alcohol testing, conduct initial applicant screenings, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Coordinate and handle onboarding of new employees.
- Perform special assignments or tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 4-7 years of related HR work experience combined with demonstrated capabilities to perform all functions of the role.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to effectively navigate complex problems where solutions are not clearly defined, using sound judgment and critical thinking.
- Maintain composure and productivity during periods of uncertainty, providing stability to others.
- Strong sense of ownership, taking responsibility for outcomes and driving work forward independently.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and HRIS applications.

- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant federal and state employment legislation and standards.
- Strong understanding of core HR program areas, including compensation, recruitment, labor relations, and employee development.
- Ability to achieve objectives and deliver results with a sustained impact on departmental performance.
Nice to Have
- SAP HRIS experience or exposure is considered an asset.
