APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to manage crucial HR functions. You will provide professional-level support to the HR Corporate team, focusing on data integrity, compliance, benefits administration, and employee communications.
What You'll Do
- Perform timely data entry and maintenance for corporate employee benefits, employment data, and personal information.
- Generate reports for corporate benefits administration and collaborate with the BenAdmin Lead.
- Act as a liaison between HR Business Partners, employees, managers, and benefit vendors for Leave Administration.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Respond to employee inquiries and process employment verifications.
- Maintain corporate employee files and ensure workplace posting compliance for labor laws.
- Support annual AAP and Social Responsibility audits.
- Assist with company-wide activities including benefits, wellness, learning & development, and environmental health and safety.
- Administer American Express and Concur programs for new card holders and terminations.
- Support HR Business Partners with communications related to employee engagement, community relations, and benefits.
- Help keep the corporate I-9 system up to date and submit daily SOX audit compliance reports.
- Provide ad hoc support for corporate projects, including data consolidation, review, and analysis.
- Assist with maintenance of electronic databases, spreadsheets, project timelines, and status tracking.
- Provide updated distribution lists for internal communications.
- Administer systems including Clickboarding, i9, ADP, Success Factors, and Eclipse.
What We're Looking For
- Two or more years of related administrative experience in an office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be 18 years or older and pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Ability to travel 5-10% for functional meetings.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
- Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist with other duties as required.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform under deadline pressure and follow complex verbal and written instructions.
- A high standard of ethics, integrity, and trust.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when handling confidential and sensitive information on a “need to know” basis.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.
- One or more years of Human Resources or Payroll experience.
- Experience with Viewpoint or an HRIS.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
