Worley is hiring a HSE Specialist I to join our team and support the delivery of major client projects. In this role, you will work closely with our existing team to develop your skills while ensuring world-class health, safety, and environmental standards.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the HSE compliance of Contractors on a mega project.
- Convene meetings with internal stakeholders to set HSE expectations.
- Conduct monthly HSE auditing to review Contractor HSE compliance.
- Investigate reported incidents to capture learnings.
- Prepare and review the risk assessment process.
- Conduct safety campaigns to create awareness among the workforce.
- Review the effectiveness of Emergency mock drills by conducting periodic mock drills.
- Liaise with Customer & Contractor to align with company HSE expectations.
What We're Looking For
- B.E./ B.Tech / B.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry / Maths) or Diploma in engineering from a recognized Institute.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized university, with examination conducted by the Technical Education Board of the respective state or approved university.
- More than 10 years of experience for BE/B.Tech holders (13 years for BSc./Diploma holders) managing HSE activities in construction industries.
- Strong understanding and exposure in driving Contractor HSE management systems.
- Thorough understanding of HSE statutory requirements specific to India.
