FORVIA, a leader in sustainable automotive technologies for intelligent mobility, is hiring a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our ambition for 'zero accidents' and minimal environmental impact. You will join the Health, Safety, and Environmental Impact Reduction department, playing a crucial part in fostering operational excellence and a strong safety culture.
What You'll Do
- Ensure strict adherence to the Group's HSE rules and requirements.
- Develop, implement, and lead the review of the HSE Management system with the management committee.
- Monitor regulatory changes, assess site compliance, and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive HSE culture through tools, key performance indicators, and cross-functional projects.
- Lead self-assessments of site compliance, identify gaps, propose solutions, and ensure follow-up.
- Participate in accident and incident analysis, determine corrective and preventive actions, and oversee their implementation.
- Conduct HSE audits, propose actions, and track action plans for improvement.
- Organize and participate in periodic regulatory verifications and emergency preparedness activities.
- Collaborate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree or higher (Bac+5) with a specialization in HSE and/or equivalent significant experience in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of the tools and methodologies necessary to evaluate and prevent safety and environmental risks (e.g., risk analysis, data collection, problem-solving).
- Knowledge of national regulations and standards specific to the scope of the activity.
- Certification as an internal auditor for HSE management systems.
- An intermediate level of oral and written English.
- An autonomous, proactive, and rigorous professional.
- The ability to take a step back and manage high-pressure situations, such as accidents involving people or disaster management.
Team & Environment
