Scout Motors is seeking an HRIS Manager to own the strategy and execution of our global People Systems. You will assess our technology against business needs, lead system implementations, and ensure our technical infrastructure supports our entire workforce. By providing expert guidance and a data-led strategy, you will empower your team to streamline complex global workflows and keep our HR technology future-ready.
What You'll Do
- Manage, develop, coach, and mentor a team of HRIS Analysts.
- Assess organizational needs and our current People Systems to recommend improvements for the entire ecosystem.
- Oversee proposed new HRIS tools and provide recommendations for support and deployment.
- Manage new HRIS deployments and ensure optimal function of existing systems.
- Collaborate with the People Team and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize system improvements based on business needs.
- Liaise with IT teams to ensure alignment with the overall company technology strategy.
- Standardize the HRIS ticketing lifecycle; define and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for timely and accurate support.
- Develop and maintain standard and custom reports to support the People Team and broader organization.
- Enhance and establish best practice procedures for updating, validating, and correcting employee data within Workday.
- Implement and maintain best practices for system permissions, access, and compliance with data security and privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR).
- Manage the creation and maintenance of systems documentation and training programs for end users.
- Manage the daily workflow of the HRIS team supporting Workday and the HRIS ecosystem.
What We're Looking For
- 6-8 years of experience within HRIS.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based HR applications, specifically Workday.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS concepts, principles, and best practices across systems like e-Learning, Recognition, Payroll, and HRIS/ERP.
- Detail-oriented and organized with a borderline perfectionist approach.
- Service-oriented mindset with proven experience managing a ticketing or request queue (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, JIRA) focused on user satisfaction.
- Ability to think globally while balancing local requirements.
- Agility to operate with structure while being flexible to support the business.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, reallocating resources as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills, with experience delivering solutions to HR and business teams at all levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive HR data.

- Prior experience leading or managing small teams; a true team player who enjoys coaching.
- Experience in global companies with a scope of 6-10+ countries.
- A self-identified data nerd who loves telling stories with data and finding synergies across systems.

Benefits & Compensation
- $118,400 - $148,000 base salary plus variable compensation.
