About the Role

Garney Construction is looking for an HR Technology Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the HR Technology team in maintaining internal HRIS systems and practices. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn within a growing professional construction company.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the HR Technology team with maintaining and supporting HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors and other HR systems.
  • Support employee data management and conduct data integrity audits.
  • Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and validation during HRIS updates or enhancements.
  • Participate in HR technology projects including document management systems, onboarding solutions, and learning systems.
  • Help create and maintain HRIS documentation, process guides, and training materials.
  • Assist with reporting and data analysis using HR systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Support HRIS team members with system configuration, data uploads, and integrations.
  • Provide support for HR system users and assist with resolving system-related inquiries.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for HR technology and processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, HR Management, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in HR systems, technology, data analytics, or system administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Junior or Senior standing preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
