About the Role

American Medical Technology Inc. seeks an HR Recruiter/Generalist to join our team. You will assist the Human Resources Manager with a focus on recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions while handling a broad spectrum of HR functions, from benefits administration to compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Help place ads, conduct phone screens, and lead face-to-face interviews.
  • Schedule interviews with managers and executives for exempt positions.
  • Register for and attend career fairs while building relationships for recruitment pipelines.
  • Communicate with all employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Attend meetings with managers and executives as required.
  • Answer employee questions regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including Medical and 401k/Profit Sharing plans for open and monthly enrollments.
  • Manage orientation and the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Support administrative HR tasks such as time cards, payroll, and mailing required notices like ERISA.
  • Assist with FMLA, COBRA, and ADA compliance.
  • Participate in employee investigations.
  • Strategize with your supervisor to improve HR goals and existing procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2 years of professional recruiting experience.

Team & Environment

You will assist the Human Resources Manager, reporting directly to them.
