Responsibilities
- Support the full hiring process including job posting, initial phone screenings, in-person interviews, and coordinating interview schedules with leadership
- Represent the organization at career fairs and build both new and ongoing relationships to meet hiring demands
- Engage with all staff in a courteous, professional, and approachable manner
- Participate in meetings with department managers and senior leaders as required
- Guide employees in understanding company policies and procedures by providing clear and accurate information
- Support benefits administration, including medical plans, 401k, profit sharing, open enrollment, and recurring monthly sign-ups
- Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration
- Perform HR-related administrative tasks such as processing timecards, supporting payroll, and distributing mandatory notices including ERISA disclosures
- Provide assistance with compliance programs including FMLA, COBRA, and ADA
- Support internal employee investigations as needed
- Collaborate with leadership to refine HR objectives and enhance current processes
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
