We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist (f/m/d) to provide operational support covering the full spectrum of employee lifecycle management for our German and international locations.
What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain our full document & contract management, ensuring consistent and compliant documents.
- Handle and resolve Tier-1 and 2 employee inquiries, e.g., regarding contracts, policy, payroll, and systems, ensuring high-quality resolution.
- Execute a streamlined operational onboarding experience, ensuring legal compliance and cross-functional process alignment.
- Own the full range of employee data and documents in our HRIS.
- Act as primary contact for our monthly payroll preparation and validation process, taking ownership of the document and information gathering, as well as a communication and escalation point with our external payroll provider.
- Oversee and administer our absence management and employee benefits.
- Identify and support / execute process improvements aimed at optimizing HR operational efficiency and driving automation.
- Own and audit HRIS data integrity and system configuration to ensure the HR system is the single, accurate source of truth.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of relevant HR administration/operations experience.
- Completed HR-related commercial apprenticeship or a university degree (e.g., Business Administration/HR).
- Solid knowledge of employment contracts, onboarding processes, and HR systems.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, a feeling of ownership, and a structured approach to work.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality.
- Proficient handling of HR systems and data maintenance.
- Ability to independently resolve more complex employee inquiries.
- Willingness to actively participate in projects for the further development of the HR function.
- English and German language skills at level B2 or above.
Nice to Have
- Personio HR system experience would be a plus.
