Manage the full onboarding lifecycle for new employees and contractors, ensuring a clear, compliant, and welcoming experience from offer acceptance through day one. In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding global hires—particularly across LATAM—through preboarding and orientation using the Deel platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end onboarding workflows, including contract setup, document collection, and compliance tracking via Deel
- Collaborate with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and People teams to ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks
- Verify employment documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in HR systems
- Act as the primary contact for new hires, answering questions and guiding them through the process
- Schedule orientation sessions, training, and key onboarding meetings
- Monitor progress, identify delays, and follow up on outstanding items
- Support international hires and contractors with jurisdiction-specific requirements
- Continuously refine onboarding templates, checklists, and internal processes for efficiency and clarity
- Uphold strict confidentiality and adherence to local labor regulations and company policies
What You Bring
- Proven experience in HR operations with a focus on onboarding and employee documentation
- Hands-on proficiency with Deel for contract and compliance management
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple onboarding timelines simultaneously
- Clear communication style and ability to engage stakeholders across departments
- Experience supporting global teams, especially in LATAM regions
- A commitment to accuracy, process improvement, and employee experience
- Deep understanding of data privacy and compliance in international employment
Compensation & Work Environment
This is a fully remote, full-time position supporting the LATAM region, with working hours aligned to 9 AM – 5 PM PST. The monthly salary range is $2000 – $3000 USD, negotiable based on experience. This role does not include equity.
