The HR Onboarding Specialist will lead the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires at Lago, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition into the company. This role is central to delivering a welcoming, organized, and efficient start for employees across LATAM and beyond, using Deel as the primary platform for global hiring and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance through first-day readiness
- Use Deel to manage onboarding workflows, contracts, compliance documents, and global hiring processes
- Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, payroll, and People teams to ensure all onboarding steps are completed on time
- Prepare and collect employment documentation, agreements, and required compliance forms
- Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date in HR systems
- Schedule onboarding sessions, orientation meetings, and training as needed
- Act as a main point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process
- Support international employee and contractor onboarding through Deel
- Track onboarding progress and follow up on pending tasks or missing documentation
- Help improve onboarding processes, templates, and internal documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor requirements

Benefits & Compensation
- Monthly salary: $2000 - $3000 USD
- Compensation is negotiable based on experience and seniority
Work Mode
- Remote, Full time
- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM PST
