PartsBase Inc. is looking for a HR Manager to lead our day-to-day HR operations and oversee the work of our HR Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will bring consistency, structure, and forward momentum to our people operations, making a lasting impact on how we support our team and build a more scalable and compliant HR infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Manage and execute daily HR operations, including employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and changes
- Supervise and coach the HR Coordinator, supporting their development and ensuring operational excellence
- Oversee national labor law compliance and ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local regulations
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a key liaison for benefits vendors and employees
- Support employee relations cases, including investigations, documentation, and resolution strategies
- Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency
- Conduct internal audits of HR files, processes, and systems; present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Maintain accurate records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity across systems
- Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards to inform business and compliance decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, enhance the employee experience, and implement HR projects
- Act as a trusted partner and point of contact for employees and managers across the business
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist or operations-focused role
- Demonstrated experience in national labor law compliance and multi-state HR practices
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring HR support staff
- Proficient in administering employee benefits programs
- Strong background in employee relations, policy development, and HR documentation
- Experience conducting internal HR audits and presenting findings to leadership
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
Nice to Have
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification
- Experience working in high-growth or rapidly changing environments
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms, specifically Ripply and Ashby
