About the Role

Happy Money is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our HR team. This remote role is based in Charlotte, NC (US) and reports to the HR Manager. You will manage a breadth of HR functions, from payroll and recruiting to employee engagement and system administration.

What You'll Do

  • Administer US payroll and manage employee data in core HR systems like HiBob and ADP
  • Act as the primary contact for HR administration, resolving employee queries and handling verification requests
  • Assist the HR Manager with company-wide processes like performance reviews, compensation analysis, and mandatory training
  • Partner with managers on employee engagement activities and other HR-related initiatives
  • Produce HR reports and perform necessary data analysis
  • Help manage the benefits interface in collaboration with our benefits partner
  • Support US-based staff hiring, act as the key user for our ATS (Greenhouse), and assist the hiring team
  • Monitor compliance updates and work with the HR Manager to update policies as needed

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role
  • Solid understanding of the US labor environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and advanced Excel skills (analysis, pivot tables)
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and an HRIS
  • Proven track record of maintaining employee confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solutions-oriented and a self-starter with a customer service mindset
  • Proactive in learning and using new technologies, including new HR systems and AI tools
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
  • Enjoys a dynamic work environment

Nice to Have

  • HR experience within a global company
  • Specific experience with the Greenhouse ATS
  • Experience in payroll administration
  • Experience working with a PEO partner (e.g., ADP)
  • A degree in Human Resource Management or a related field

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $48,000-52,000 (based on experience)
