BetterHelp (via TensorOps) is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Accounting and Finance team. You will play a central role in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting, working closely across all departments to analyze performance and forecast future outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead financial reporting to provide key stakeholders with visibility into company performance and expense management.
- Own forecasting and budgeting processes, working closely with department leads to ensure accurate financial projections.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, and business drivers.
- Create dynamic financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
- Partner with business leaders to track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing data-driven recommendations.
- Support corporate financial deliverables, including business reviews and board presentations.
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end financial close processes, collaborating with Accounting to analyze financial results.
- Maintain a system for tracking vendor renewals, and work cross functionally to identify cost saving opportunities as they arise.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or similar discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, business strategy, or strategic planning
- Ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Advanced skill developing and maintaining 3-statement models and dynamic cost models
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Proven track record of leading financial reporting and forecasting
- Ability to convey drivers of business performance and next steps in written and verbal communications
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in consumer finance, lending, or fintech
- Previous experience in a PE-backed or venture-backed company
- Progress or completion of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program
