Harbor is looking for an HR Consultant to serve as an expert advisor to external customers using BambooHR. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner, helping clients optimize their HR processes and achieve business goals, while directly contributing to the growth of our Consulting Services division.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a dedicated HR and payroll consultant for external customers, offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct working sessions via video calls to provide strategic HR guidance and assist with HR tasks and projects.
- Build strong customer relationships, understanding challenges and providing coaching.
- Partner with an HR Technical Trainer to identify and execute solutions that optimize the customer's HR Tech Stack.
- Act as a change champion, facilitating positive change with teammates, customers, and stakeholders.
- Influence internal and external partners to innovate and drive the product forward.
- Encourage and support adoption of new processes and tools.
- Actively contribute to the success and evolution of the BambooHR Consulting Services division.
- Capture and document key learnings, customer feedback, and insights to inform future program phases.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Manager and team to refine service offerings and improve customer experiences.
- Work with customers to develop strategies to ensure and maintain compliance.
- Assist customers with tasks like onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, and compensation planning using BambooHR.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including notes, data, and feedback.
- Prepare and deliver regular updates to the Sr. Manager, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Demonstrate clarity and confidence in all written and verbal communication and presentations.
- Tie efforts to impact and value, clearly articulating the benefits and outcomes of services provided.
- Use persuasion and negotiation skills to influence positive decisions and actions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR consulting, payroll, customer success, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, particularly in the context of SaaS products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
