About the Role
The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, supporting employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development within the RBS and EHS divisions across the Americas.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters
- Support organizational change initiatives and workforce planning
- Partner with leadership to enhance team performance and development
- Guide managers through performance improvement processes
- Promote a positive workplace culture through proactive engagement
- Assist in conflict resolution and employee relations issues
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Lead HR aspects of restructuring or reorganization efforts
- Support talent acquisition strategies in coordination with recruiting teams
- Advise on classification and job grading matters
- Drive initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Provide guidance during disciplinary actions and terminations
- Support leadership development and succession planning
- Collaborate with compensation teams on salary planning cycles
- Monitor HR metrics and report on key performance indicators
- Facilitate training programs focused on leadership and management skills
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies across regions
- Act as a liaison between local teams and global HR functions
- Support health, safety, and environmental compliance efforts
- Promote ethical practices and adherence to company values
- Coordinate responses to internal and external audits
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data
- Stay current on employment legislation and industry trends
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes
