Responsibilities
- Monitor monthly revenue recognition processes in alignment with GAAP guidelines
- Prepare detailed revenue schedules and support audit requirements
- Analyze subscription billing data to verify accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with accounting and sales teams to resolve revenue discrepancies
- Maintain and improve revenue forecasting models
- Track key performance metrics related to customer renewals and upsells
- Support contract reviews for proper revenue treatment
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 standards across all transactions
- Generate recurring financial reports for leadership review
- Identify trends in deferred revenue and booking patterns
- Assist in the development of revenue operations policies
- Work closely with customer success to validate renewal data
- Reconcile revenue data across CRM, billing, and ERP systems
- Evaluate pricing changes and their financial impact
- Document processes for revenue cycle management
- Provide input on revenue-related aspects of sales compensation plans
- Assist in quarterly close activities with timely deliverables
- Use data visualization tools to present financial findings
- Support integration of financial data from new acquisitions
- Maintain revenue recognition rules for multi-element arrangements
- Evaluate sales contract amendments for revenue timing implications
- Improve automation of revenue reporting workflows
- Coordinate with legal on contract terms affecting revenue
- Track revenue by segment, product, and geography
