This role supports the HR Security team by ensuring adherence to hiring, employment verification, and offboarding protocols across the organization. You will play a key part in maintaining compliance through accurate recordkeeping, process audits, and lifecycle tracking of employee documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR operations throughout the employee journey, from onboarding to separation, with a focus on compliance and data integrity
- Conduct verification processes including I-9 compliance, background checks, employment eligibility, and termination reviews
- Participate in scheduled and on-demand audits to assess adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain detailed logs, dashboards, and reports to track compliance actions and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with HR leadership to support additional functions as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of experience in human resources or a related administrative field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with an emphasis on data organization and process efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, with consistent attention to detail
- Commitment to confidentiality and alignment with organizational values
- Ability to work onsite in McAllen, TX when necessary
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening, which may include a background check or drug test
Work Environment
This position offers full remote flexibility but requires occasional presence in McAllen, TX. You must be able to travel onsite as business needs arise.
