APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is hiring an Hourly Workforce Recruiter to source, screen, and interview candidates for hourly positions across Ohio. You will build talent pipelines through partnerships with schools, military organizations, and community groups, driving recruitment efforts throughout the region.
What You'll Do
- Manage full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and recommending placements using creative methods.
- Conduct pre-employment assessments such as background checks and drug testing.
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Serve as an expert for high-volume recruiting of non-exempt positions.
- Use traditional and non-traditional resources like career fairs and community events to attract quality candidates.
- Develop advertising programs with company stakeholders.
- Assist with the internal transfer process and communicate employment information during offer delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, including Affirmative Action Plan requirements.
- Manage candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain professional organization memberships.
- Screen resumes, interview candidates, conduct reference checks, and deliver employment offers.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma with 1-3 years of relevant recruitment experience.
- Valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (and up to 75% during peak season) across Ohio, including nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
- Highly effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to operate office equipment, analyze issues independently, perform under deadline pressure, and follow complex instructions.
- Consistent and dependable attendance.
Nice to Have
- Four-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- Experience with recruitment and HR administration.
- Experience in a construction environment.
