The Section of General Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine is looking for a Hospitalist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. You will join a team dedicated to clinical excellence and education in an inpatient setting.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct inpatient care on a 7 on/ 7 off block schedule.
- Deliver medical care to adults in the inpatient setting.
- Supervise residents, medical students, and other learners.
- Coordinate with outpatient care teams to ensure safe patient discharge.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing order sets and procedures.
- Contribute to quality improvement and research projects.
- Collaborate nationally with leaders in the field.
- Maintain continuing medical education and renew all required licenses and certifications.
- Document all patient encounters in EPIC electronic medical records in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or board eligible.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
