Azurity Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Hospital Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to own and drive growth in the St Louis East, MO territory. In this role, you will develop and execute a strategic business plan to build relationships with key stakeholders across a wide geographical area and be accountable for attaining your sales goals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for your territory to target, penetrate, and establish a network with key decision makers.
- Call on physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals across multiple medical subspecialties in settings like physician offices, hospital pharmacies, ORs, and ICUs.
- Articulate complex clinical messages clearly and effectively in real-time situations.
- Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and capitalize on high-ROI opportunities.
- Attain or exceed your assigned sales and profit goal.
- Manage territory-specific information through a CRM system.
- Travel as required for the role, including periodic field travel with internal teams and air travel.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage key account relationships.
- A documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals and growing a territory.
- Strong business acumen and comprehension of complex clinical information.
- Excellent organization, time management, and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and virtual engagement skills.
- Ability to work with a CRM tool (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce).
- An independent worker who can also collaborate within a team, with strong leadership skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice to Have
- Buy and Bill and injectable product experience.
- Oncology experience.
- Hospital sales and account-based selling experience, including familiarity with the P&T and formulary process.
- Knowledge of local or regional health systems.
