Evernorth is hiring an Application Development Analyst to join a team focused on code triage, analysis, and implementing quick fixes for issues impacting our applications. You will be instrumental in identifying and rectifying technical and functional challenges to support Evernorth's technology solutions and our mission to elevate health for all.
What You'll Do
- Monitor enterprise applications and infrastructure.
- Analyze alerts and dashboards to detect performance degradation or system failures.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to escalate issues to appropriate teams.
- Assist in creating incident reports and maintaining system logs for historical tracking.
- Participate in daily status calls and shift handovers.
- Engage in root cause analysis (RCA) and help implement preventive measures.
- Work closely with application support and DevOps teams to ensure continuous service improvement.
- Contribute to improving alert rules, thresholds, and dashboard customization.
- Document learnings and support runbooks to improve operational maturity.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in application development or maintenance.
- A college degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AWS & Python.
- Basic knowledge with any of the following: React JS, Postgres SQL, Dev Ops, CICD pipelines.
- Ability to understand complex architectures.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in production maintenance.
- Ability to navigate a geographically diverse team and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and its usage in complex applications.
- Passion for analysis and learning to grow in a fast-changing environment.
