Join a mission-driven team focused on transforming language education across North Carolina. As a Higher Ed Field Sales Specialist, you’ll take ownership of a defined territory, working directly with colleges and universities to understand their unique challenges and academic goals.
What You’ll Do
- Drive revenue by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts through consultative selling
- Deliver compelling in-person and virtual demonstrations of digital and print learning tools tailored to institutional needs
- Build trusted relationships with faculty, administrators, and procurement teams to support long-term partnerships
- Use CRM systems to track interactions, forecast accurately, and plan strategic account growth
- Travel frequently across the state to campuses, conferences, and meetings, with travel ranging from 50% to 70% depending on season
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 2–3 years of sales experience in educational technology, language learning, or academic publishing
- Proven ability to present technical products to diverse audiences, both live and remotely
- Strong organizational skills with a strategic approach to territory management
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Willingness to travel and engage customers face-to-face
Fluency in Spanish, French, German, or Italian is a plus, as is familiarity with higher education environments. An advanced degree may be considered an asset.
