Unknown Company is hiring a HGV Class 1 Driver - Days 4 on 4 off

We are currently recruiting a Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 1 Driver for our Hams Hall location to meet customer requirements. Shift Available: HGV Class 1 Driver: 4 on 4 off days (Commencing approximately 05:00) Compensation: £15.90 hourly rate, supplemented by a weekly shift bonus of £40.00. Duties and Responsibilities - Maintain vehicle legal compliance and roadworthiness - complete all daily inspections and report any equipment issues - Verify correct and secure loading of goods prior to vehicle movement - Execute trunk and multi-destination deliveries efficiently and in strict legal compliance with driving time regulations - Confirm deliveries with customers while delivering exceptional service, collect necessary signatures and documentation before returning to base depot Candidate Requirements - Possession of C+E driving certification, current DigiTacho and CPC - Demonstrable previous Class 1 driving experience - Capability to manually handle loads up to 18kg - Proficient English communication skills for team collaboration Employee Benefits - Overtime compensation at time-and-a-half after 39 hours - Complimentary on-site parking facilities - 24/7 confidential employee assistance helpline supporting emotional wellness - Exclusive credit union access offering preferential loan and savings rates Why Choose Lineage?
