JOB OVERVIEW: This role focuses on executing equipment repair services within practitioners' facilities, guided by senior technicians or project managers. Collaborate with seasoned professionals to enhance customer service capabilities, utilize support resources, develop advanced troubleshooting methods, and expand product expertise. Foster service excellence that elevates customer satisfaction, strengthens client retention, and drives organizational profitability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Delivers professional repair and occasional installation services to clients with courtesy and precision. - Maintains and ensures availability of necessary professional equipment and tools. - Execute installation, repair, maintenance, and testing procedures under supervisory guidance. - Apply systematic troubleshooting protocols to diagnose technical issues and determine optimal solutions. - Understand client requirements and provide strategic recommendations to enhance service experience. - Monitor and manage vehicular inventory levels efficiently. - Generate comprehensive and timely service documentation. - Participate in mandatory training programs, including professional development and manufacturer-specific technical workshops. - Adhere to OSHA regulatory guidelines, utilizing appropriate protective equipment as needed. - Maintain prompt and effective communication with team members and dispatch coordinators regarding assignment progress. - Complete work orders meticulously, conducting thorough client reviews prior to departure. - Submit all job-related documentation within prescribed timeframes. - Comply with fleet management policies and protocols. - Engage in supplementary projects and perform additional assigned responsibilities. WORK EXPERIENCE: Typically requires 2+ years of field service expertise demonstrating technical proficiency, foundational mechanical knowledge, and customer service background. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically high school diploma, vocational training, and/or practical experience. Associate's degree or technical certification preferred. GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Fundamental troubleshooting capabilities - Self-motivated and independent - Basic technological literacy - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Professional demeanor - Precision and meticulous attention to detail SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: - Comprehensive understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical system dynamics TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Equipment Service Technician role requires delivering, installing, and repairing client equipment. Technicians must maneuver substantial machinery and endure physically demanding tasks involving frequent bending, stopping, lifting, and ladder climbing.
