Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments and 3D simulations during project bidding and execution phases, with a focus on high-frequency emissions and filtering in HVDC installations
- Apply theoretical findings to real-world HVDC filter design and associated component integration
- Support research and development efforts to maintain technological leadership in the industry
- Work primarily from the Ludvika office, with potential for international travel to conduct on-site measurements and inspections
- Collaborate with specialists in multiphysics areas including electromagnetic fields, lightning protection, and high-current grounding systems
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Power Systems, or a closely related discipline
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with strong accountability, initiative, and a drive to learn
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology and practical, cost-efficient engineering solutions
