Install, service, and repair advanced diagnostic equipment across customer sites in Buffalo and throughout Greater New York. You’ll ensure instruments operate at peak performance by performing preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and technical troubleshooting, all while adhering to strict regulatory and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform on-site and remote diagnostics, repairs, and installations of complex diagnostic systems, following quality and compliance protocols.
- Respond to customer service requests, resolve issues efficiently, and escalate when necessary, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
- Manage service schedules, prioritize field visits, and support after-hours and on-call coverage as needed.
- Document all service activities thoroughly to meet audit requirements and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and support training initiatives for field colleagues.
- Use remote support technologies to minimize instrument downtime and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Meet performance targets related to service quality, cost efficiency, and customer retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, laboratory technology, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in equipment service, diagnostics, or technical support.
- Ability to travel up to 40% within the assigned region.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proficiency with computer applications including Word, Excel, and remote access tools such as VPN and remote troubleshooting platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
