The Senior Engineer - HD Maps will lead the end-to-end implementation and ownership of HD maps across all products at Applied Intuition. This role involves defining map storage formats, collaborating with engineers and customers, and shaping the future of mapping solutions for applications in localization, data querying, and visualization.
What You'll Do
- Lead HD maps implementation and own related feature areas across all of our products
- Define our map storage format to handle more features and distribute map data focusing on UIs, data pipelines and storage, and SDKs
- Collaborate with engineers and customers on existing and future designs and features
What We're Looking For
- Experience building software components or (sub) systems that address real-world mapping and localization challenges
- 2+ years of experience working in either autonomous vehicles or simulation products
- Working knowledge of C++ and/or Python

Compensation includes a base salary range of $153,000 - $222,000 USD annually. Equity and other components are part of the total package.
Work Mode
Employees primarily work from the office 5 days a week at one of the following locations: Sunnyvale, California; Washington, D.C.; San Diego; Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; Ann Arbor, Michigan; London; Stuttgart; Munich; Stockholm; Bangalore; Seoul; Tokyo. Occasional remote work is allowed, including flexibility to start the day from home or leave early when needed.
