Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is hiring a GPU Arch Modeling Engineer to ensure the flawless execution of our graphics processor IP. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete verification lifecycle of new and existing features, with the ultimate goal of delivering a bug-free final design. You will join a team grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, pushing the limits to solve complex challenges.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand new features to be verified.
- Build comprehensive test plan documentation, accounting for interactions with other features, hardware, firmware, and software driver use cases.
- Estimate the time required to write new feature tests and any required changes to the test environment.
- Build both directed and random verification tests.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in hardware verification, specifically for complex processor or GPU IP.
- Strong ability to develop thorough test plans and verification strategies.
- Expertise in creating and executing directed and random verification tests.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across architecture, hardware, and firmware teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with graphics architecture and driver software use cases.
- Experience with industry-standard verification methodologies and tools.
