Abramson Labor Group is hiring a Hearing Representative to join our Workers’ Compensation Department. In this remote role, you will manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring the defense of employee rights with integrity and professionalism. This position is open to California residents only.
What You'll Do
- Manage a high-volume legal Workers’ Compensation caseload
- Communicate with all relevant parties involved in a case
- Attend all case-related hearings
- Maintain detailed case notes
- Review and evaluate case files
- Travel to assigned Workers Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) locations as needed
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation laws and processes
- General understanding of the workers’ compensation system including EAMS, E-filing, and the AME/PQME process
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, and Teams
Nice to Have
- 1+ years of experience as a Hearing Representative related to Workers' Compensation
- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
