Global Finance Teams (GFT) is hiring a Healthcare Licensing and Credentialing specialist. In this remote role, you will be responsible for verifying provider licensing and credentials, managing payer enrollment, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. You will support timely credentialing and re-credentialing for providers.
What You'll Do
- Collect and verify provider documents such as licenses, education, certifications, and malpractice insurance.
- Process credentialing and re-credentialing applications with payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.
- Maintain provider files, databases, and systems like CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS.
- Track expirations and ensure timely renewals of all credentials.
- Communicate application status and requirements to providers and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulations including HIPAA, NCQA, and Joint Commission standards.
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to work US hours from Monday to Friday.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment.
- 2+ years in Behavioral Health credentialing.
- Experience working in the Modio credentialing database.
- Knowledge of CAQH, PECOS, and payer requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and credentialing systems.
