Karntek, a trusted fire safety consultancy, is seeking a Health, Safety & Fire Risk Assessor to join their team. The role involves conducting fire risk assessments and health & safety inspections across commercial, residential, and industrial properties, ensuring compliance with legislation and delivering practical safety recommendations.
What You'll Do
- Conducting thorough fire risk assessments for a range of properties, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
- Identifying potential fire hazards and evaluating the effectiveness of existing fire safety measures.
- Preparing detailed risk assessment reports with clear recommendations for improvements and mitigation strategies.
- Liaising with clients and property managers to discuss findings and assist in implementing fire safety measures.
- Keeping up-to-date with current fire safety legislation and maintaining professional development.
What We're Looking For
- Accreditation under the BAFE SP205 Gold level scheme (implied by audit requirement)
- Strong technical knowledge in fire safety and health & safety practices
- Professional judgement and ability to work independently
- Ability to conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments and health & safety inspections
