Handshake is looking for experienced Health Information Technologists and Medical Registrars to join a temporary, hourly AI research project. In this role, you will apply your professional expertise to help train and improve AI models by evaluating their understanding of workplace-specific tasks and language. The project is fully remote, asynchronous, and offers flexible hours.
What You'll Do
- Develop prompts for AI models that accurately reflect tasks and scenarios from your professional field.
- Evaluate AI model responses related to health information technology and medical registrar responsibilities.
- Deliver clear, structured feedback to strengthen the AI model's understanding of your workplace tasks and language.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of professional experience in Health Information Technology or Medical Registrar roles.
- Hands-on experience in one or more key responsibilities such as: assigning DRGs, compiling medical data, designing healthcare databases, developing educational materials, evaluating healthcare systems, facilitating security awareness, coding patient data, managing medical records departments, monitoring legislation, operating health record systems, preparing statistical reports, protecting medical record security, resolving coding conflicts, retrieving medical records, training staff, or writing procedures.
