ICEYE is hiring a Head of Product Design to build and lead a high-impact product design organization. This role comes at a critical scaling inflection point for ICEYE’s Missions business, where you will own UX quality across products, build a scalable design capability, and ensure coherent end-to-end customer journeys.

What You'll Do

Set and uphold usability and interaction standards to raise the UX quality bar across all products.
Own and scale the design system to drive consistency and reduce fragmentation across product surfaces.
Define the hiring bar, levels, and career paths to build a scalable design organization.
Hire, onboard, and coach designers on systems thinking and interaction design.
Ensure high craft quality across embedded designers within a matrix operating model.
Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to influence product strategy and shape end-to-end customer journeys.
Translate company goals into actionable design standards and mechanisms, positioning UX as a mission-critical advantage.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience building and leading product design teams in a scaling technology environment.
Deep expertise in elevating UX quality, establishing design systems, and managing end-to-end customer journeys.
Strong track record of hiring, developing, and coaching design talent, including defining career paths and performance management.
Experience operating effectively within a matrix model, balancing embedded team needs with organizational coherence.
Ability to partner with Product and Engineering leadership to align design strategy with business goals.

Team & Environment

You will lead product design within a matrix model where designers are embedded within product domains. You will report to the VP of Product Management.
