Responsibilities
- Ensure broadcast systems and personnel meet operational needs and performance expectations.
- Manage production and remote broadcast infrastructure for live event coverage.
- Define and implement strategic technical improvements within media engineering, overseeing project execution.
- Guarantee broadcast infrastructure is effectively provided to rights-holding broadcasters.
- Supervise audiovisual operations for the Paddock Club at race events in coordination with hospitality and events AV specialists.
- Build and sustain key relationships with internal departments, broadcast technology vendors, partners, and technology pioneers.
- Lead broadcast engineering teams and support functions, promoting a professional, ethical, and collaborative environment.
- Manage the recruitment, deployment, and performance of freelance and contract workers.
- Monitor advancements in broadcast and media technology alongside senior engineering leadership.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for the department in alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive ongoing improvements in service quality and explore opportunities for technical collaborations.
