IIX is seeking a Senior Vice President / Associate Director as Head of Innovation to lead IIX Fintech, a newly integrated vertical combining IIX Values™, Impact Partners™, and IIX Institute™. This senior leadership role will unify these platforms into a cohesive, revenue-generating business unit that bridges IIX’s Asset Management and Advisory divisions, driving innovation through data, technology, and knowledge systems.
What You'll Do
- Build and lead IIX Fintech as a cohesive business unit, integrating Values, Impact Partners, and Institute into a unified strategy
- Position IIX Fintech as the connective tissue between Asset Management and Advisory, ensuring seamless flow of data, insights, and client solutions
- Develop and execute a 3–5 year growth strategy for IIX Fintech, aligned with IIX’s broader vision of scaling Orange Capital markets
- Drive the commercialization of all three platforms, creating clear revenue streams and client offerings
- Design and package end-to-end solutions for corporates, financial institutions, governments, and development partners
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and clients to scale platform adoption globally
- Oversee continued development and enhancement of Data analytics and impact measurement tools (IIX Values™)
- Oversee continued development and enhancement of Digital engagement and marketplace capabilities (Impact Partners™)
- Oversee continued development and enhancement of Training, certification, and thought leadership programs (IIX Institute™)
- Ensure platforms are market-relevant, user-centric, and scalable across geographies
- Work closely with tech and analytics teams to translate business needs into product innovation
- Lead and manage a globally distributed team across technology, analytics, and training functions
- Rebuild and strengthen the IIX Institute into a leading global knowledge hub
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent aligned with IIX’s mission and PREM values
- Partner closely with Asset Management team to embed data and analytics into investment strategies and reporting
- Partner closely with Advisory team to deliver integrated solutions for clients and governments
- Ensure IIX Fintech enhances both capital mobilization efforts and policy advisory outcomes
- Establish clear KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting structures for the Fintech vertical
- Ensure efficient delivery across platforms, maintaining high-quality outputs and client satisfaction
- Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and financial sustainability of the unit
What We're Looking For
- 15–18+ years of experience across fintech, impact investing, consulting, or digital platform businesses
- Proven track record of building and scaling business units or platforms
- Strong understanding of financial markets, ESG/impact measurement, and emerging markets
- Experience working across technology, analytics, and business development functions
- Strong commercial mindset with ability to translate innovation into revenue
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, remote, and cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across private sector, governments, and development partners
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Deep alignment with IIX’s mission of inclusive finance, gender equality, and climate action
- A systems builder who can connect ideas, people, and platforms into a unified whole
- Resilient, adaptable, and driven—comfortable navigating ambiguity and building from the ground up
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields
- 10+ years of experience in platform management, data analytics, and digital product development
- Expertise in strategic thinking, execution, and product innovation
- Strong understanding of data analytics, visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau), and UI/UX principles
- Experience working with ESG frameworks, impact investing, and sustainable finance
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with data privacy, security regulations, and compliance standards
