Allianz is hiring a Head of Health Platform Transformation

Allianz is looking for a Head of Health Platform Transformation to serve as the single point of contact for transformation initiatives in Asia. In this senior leadership role, you will drive business transformation enabled by technology to support regional strategy, coordinating decision making, planning, and execution across a wide range of stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Lead transformation program(s) to meet business objectives and deliver improvements in key performance indicators.
• Partner with regional, group, and local teams to rollout new solutions across the insurance value chain.
• Oversee and ensure delivery of programs within time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Engage Operating Entity and Partner stakeholders to define program objectives and establish project structures.
• Setup and run project management frameworks, including planning, monitoring, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Ensure appropriate decision making and steering mechanisms are in place.
• Manage demand and the quality of solutioning.
• Promote awareness and usage of target solution designs during implementation.
• Develop solutions and analyze proposed solutions prior to implementation.
• Identify solutions applicable across multiple Operating Entities and ensure consistent design implementation.
• Collaborate with country transformation leads and teams to drive change.
• Setup a community to ensure experience exchange across all Operating Entities.
• Develop and execute a communication plan for all stakeholders.
• Setup and run engagement forums and platforms.
• Implement the Health platform, including Core, Claims, and Distribution Management Systems.
• Drive platform implementation to upgrade technology capabilities in key Health markets across Asia.
• Define the approach for achieving Product, Process, and Technology harmonization at a regional level.
• Work closely with Az Technology, Operating Entities, external vendors, and Group teams to deploy the target platform.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
• Flexibility to work in a time-sensitive environment with strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills, plus technical and architecture experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Experience with both traditional and Agile project methodologies.
• Proven competency in analyzing business requirements for regional or cross-country initiatives.
• Ability to improve processes and procedures.
• Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplace trends, and the insurance regulatory environment.
• Experience in the insurance business, specifically on technology transformation and implementation programs, preferably in Asia.
• C-level business acumen and management experience.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for Board-level audiences (local, regional, global).
• International work experience across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.
• A strong track record in delivering similarly scaled program management and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
• A Bachelor’s or MBA Degree.
• 15+ years of experience in the Insurance and/or Technology industry.

Nice to Have

• Ability to speak Mandarin, given the markets involved.
• AI-skills, for example with ChatGPT or Microsoft CoPilot.
