Scout Motors is hiring its first Head of Demand & Commercial Growth to build the commercial function from zero. You will own demand generation, pipeline, and revenue execution, scaling the go-to-market approach only as revenue justifies it.
What You'll Do
- Generate commercial pipeline by defining ICPs and sharpening positioning with the Enterprise Growth Lead.
- Build inbound from scratch via technical content, SEO, ecosystem visibility, and marketplace presence.
- Support outbound with targeted messaging, campaigns, and tooling.
- Improve conversion rates from MQL to SQL to Opportunity.
- Run enterprise conversations early and help move technical deals forward alongside founders.
- Build basic but disciplined forecasting and pipeline hygiene systems.
- Turn post-launch interest into signed contracts.
- Own and build the commercial function, bringing on AEs, Solutions Engineers, or BDRs as revenue milestones justify.
- Drive ecosystem and marketplace traction by shipping unilateral integrations and getting listed on major cloud marketplaces.
- Operationalize partnership revenue by migrating customers cleanly, protecting revenue, and building measurable cross-sell pathways.
What We're Looking For
- 8-12+ years in B2B infrastructure, cloud, storage, AI/ML, or developer tools.
- Proven experience building pipeline from zero in an early-stage environment.
- Comfortable selling complex technical infrastructure.
- A strong operator who measures results before scaling.
- Scrappy, analytical, low-ego, and high-ownership mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketplaces and integration-led growth.
Team & Environment
You will work directly with executives in the Filecoin ecosystem and our GTM Enterprise Growth Lead.
