We are looking for a Hard Maintenance Team Leader to lead the technical and operational aspects of our Hard Maintenance team. You will ensure the performance, reliability, and continuity of critical infrastructure systems across our Data Centres, Offices, and Retail Stores, while driving cost efficiency and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities across all critical systems.
- Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of incidents or system failures.
- Ensure the proper functioning of Power Systems, including UPS, generators, switchboards, and continuity groups.
- Ensure the proper functioning of HVAC Systems for air conditioning and ventilation.
- Ensure the proper functioning of Fire Suppression Systems, such as gas-based and water mist solutions.
- Ensure the proper functioning of Electronic Safety and Security Systems, including intrusion detection and CCTV.
- Manage contracts with third-party maintenance providers and ensure technical service compliance.
- Design and implement process improvements to optimize maintenance costs and enhance energy efficiency.
- Support infrastructure upgrade projects, retrofits, or expansions, including long-term maintenance plans and CAPEX.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technical maintenance professionals.
- Ensure training and upskilling programs are in place for safety, compliance, and technical excellence.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable legal, international standards, environmental, and occupational safety regulations.
- Support internal and external audits related to critical infrastructure and Vodafone certifications.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3–5 years managing and/or maintaining, installing, and commissioning critical infrastructure, particularly in data centers.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of emergency power systems, industrial HVAC, and fire suppression.
- Solid understanding of electrical and HVAC systems, including special installations for general buildings and Data Centres.
- Familiarity with relevant quality, safety, and energy standards.
- Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.
- A proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle on-call responsibilities.
