Lead and shape medical research in gynecologic oncology across Germany by driving high-quality clinical trial execution. This role ensures studies are conducted in alignment with regulatory standards, scientific rigor, and organizational goals, directly contributing to improved outcomes for patients with cancer.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee local clinical research operations, ensuring studies are designed, implemented, and reported with scientific and operational integrity
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and external research partners to maintain alignment and efficiency
- Develop and implement regional engagement strategies that combine in-person and digital methods to meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers
- Organize and lead medical education initiatives, including advisory boards, symposia, and scientific meetings
- Support the generation of robust clinical evidence that informs treatment approaches and strengthens therapeutic differentiation
- Supervise and mentor junior medical team members, fostering professional growth and scientific excellence
- Manage partnerships with clinical sites and contract research organizations to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary requirements
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent). A minimum of three years of experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or a similar industry role is required. Strong knowledge of oncology therapeutics, particularly in gynecologic cancers, is highly valued.
Proficiency in both German and English is essential for effective communication. Applicants should demonstrate a solid understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, ethical standards, and compliance frameworks. Regular travel within Germany is expected.
Prior experience with investigator-initiated trials, digital medical engagement models, or scientific presentations at conferences will strengthen an application. Project or budget management experience is also beneficial.
