Amidon Heavy Industries is hiring a Growth Associate to drive commercial expansion into offshore energy and submarine cable sectors. You will work directly with the Head of Growth to build relationships across target customers and position our unmanned inspection services as a new standard.
What You'll Do
- Drive revenue growth in submarine cables and oil & gas by sourcing new customers or partners, scoping potential pilots, and building relationships to close signed contracts.
- Build and manage relationships with operators, contractors, and service companies across offshore/subsea energy and telecoms markets on multiple continents.
- Position Amidon as a trusted partner for subsea inspection and monitoring, showing customers the value of a new approach.
- Shape go-to-market strategy across commercial verticals and create a repeatable process.
- Use strong organizational skills to document and scale our GTM engine.
- Bridge customer feedback with Amidon engineering teams to influence product development and deployment strategy.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and in customer meetings.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategy.
- Understanding of subsea integrity management, offshore operations, inspection regimes, procurement cycles, and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to build a network within operators, subsea infrastructure owners, contractors, and marine service companies.
- Ability to work across personalities, cultures, and experience levels.
- Ability to translate technical offerings into clear business value.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with high autonomy.
- Familiarity with CRMs and Notion.
Nice to Have
- Experience in offshore oil & gas, either at the operator or servicer level, or in submarine cables.
- A strong network already within target industries.
- Experience bringing new technology or service models into the offshore energy or telecoms industry.
- Experience in scoping and executing early pilots and trials for new technology, especially in industrials/energy markets.
- Prior leadership in business development or account management.
Team & Environment
You will work directly with the Head of Growth and report to the Head of Growth.
Work Mode
This role is local to the office cities of Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA.
