Greenlight Financial Technology is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture and development of its financial technology platform. You'll be a key technical voice, designing systems that are secure, scalable, and reliable.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain high-impact, scalable backend systems and APIs
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across teams
- Drive architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to define and deliver complex features
- Establish engineering best practices and raise the bar for code quality and system reliability
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Staff Engineer or similar senior technical leadership role
- Deep expertise in designing, developing, and operating distributed systems at scale
- Strong background in backend development and system architecture
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence engineering direction
- Track record of mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates should be based in or near the Atlanta area for periodic team collaboration.
