About the Role

Galileo is offering a Graphic Designer (Junior) apprenticeship for a student in graphic design. You'll begin with immersive training in our communication and design department, followed by hands-on participation in creative projects.

What You'll Do

  • Discover the tools and working methods of a visual communication department.
  • Participate in creating visuals for social media and digital media.
  • Design posters, flyers, and print communication materials.
  • Learn to respect a graphic charter and printing constraints.
  • Be accompanied by a designer or communication officer for 1 to 2 months, then gradually gain autonomy on projects.
  • Perform layout work for brochures, presentations, and documents.
  • Participate in graphic research and creative proposals.
  • Perform simple photo retouching and prepare files for printing.
  • Create simple logo and visual identity proposals.
  • Ensure the visual consistency of the materials produced.
  • Participate in graphic watch and design trends.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently a student in a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
  • Creative, curious, and detail-oriented.
  • Motivated and wanting to develop skills in graphic design.
  • Master the basics of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Have basics in typography and layout.
  • Ability to work autonomously while appreciating teamwork.
  • Have a portfolio presenting personal or school projects.

Team & Environment

Integration into the company's teams as an apprentice, reporting to a designer or communication officer.

Work Mode

This is an onsite role based in Toulouse and its periphery.
